Worship Café Conversations
Sunday September 13th , 27th and October 18th
August kicks off an exciting time for HCLC as we enter a time of careful
listening to the Spirit of God through each other. We begin in August with
our Heritage Celebration and move into August as we listen to the
collective wisdom gathered during these special worship events known as
Worship Café Conversations.
Identity Café September 13th: From this conversation we will identify together
the four markers of identity and four markers of purpose.
Community Café September 27th : This café is going to draw from information
about our community to identify what is important.
Focus Café October 18th : In this third and final café, we will be drawing out the
five areas of desired focus of the next pastor and how HCLC will support that
focus.
Two-Hour Events in Fellowship Hall: These will be high energy and engaging
times as a community. There will be scripture and music, but the main message will be
shared by you as the community of faith. Children’s activities for the very young ones
will be provided but confirmation age and up can join in the conversation.
Refreshments Served Throughout: Everyone will have the opportunity to get
refreshments or just get up and move. Picture this like going to a café.
